Improvements and Maintenance Kicks Off

NNEPRA is working in partnership with Pan Am Railways on a series of track improvement and maintenance projects along the Downeaster corridor. These projects will improve the overall state of the railway tracks and on-time performance of the Downeaster.

Crossing replacement gets underway at the Swampscott St. crossing in Newfields, New Hampshire.
Crews continue improvements for the replacement of the James St. Bridge in Saco, Maine.
Railroad ties are replaced in Atkinson, New Hampshire.
