Portland Station Relocation

Project Overview

The Portland Transportation Center (PTC) is the shared terminal for several transit providers, including the Downeaster. NNEPRA is exploring alternatives to relocate the station in Portland to the freight mainline location to reduce passenger train bottlenecks, reduce travel time and improve transit connectivity.

A virtual public meeting was held Thursday, April 25, 2024 to provide information about the proposed Portland Train Station Relocation project.  Public comments may be submitted via the web form below through May 10, 2024
